Text signup for emergency alerts now available

Being aware of an emergency, severe weather event or an incident involving police activity in your area is important for your safety and wellbeing. Weld County’s CodeRED emergency alert system can help you maintain this situational awareness.

If you haven’t registered, you can text WELD911ALERT to 99411 and receive a link to sign up for CodeRED alerts.

CodeRED is free, and users can register multiple phone lines and manage their own accounts. Alerts for severe thunderstorms, flash floods, tornadoes, critical police activity and boil water notices will be delivered via phone call, text, email or a combination of all three, based on your specific preferences.

If residents prefer, they can sign up for CodeRED at www.weld911alert.com or by calling (970) 400-2899.
