Commissioners thank volunteers for their service

The Weld County Board of Commissioners recognized, appointed, and reappointed several members of various Weld County Boards and Commissions:

Recognitions:

  • Brechen Santeramo – recognized for six years of service on the Weld Extension Advisory Council.
  • William Erickson – recognized for seven years of service on the Weld Extension Advisory Council.
  • Jon Schwartzbauer – recognized for two years of service on the Weld Board of Public Health.
  • Carl Harvey – recognized for seven years of service on the Weld Regional Communications Advisory Board.
  • Hugh Kane – recognized for six years of service on the Weld Regional Communications Advisory Board.
  • Mark Jones – recognized for two years of service on the Weld 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board and the Weld Regional Communications Advisory Board.

Appointments:

  • Michael Wailes - appointed to the Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee, with a term to be set by the committee.
  • Mike Savage – appointed to the standing position of Greeley Police Chief Representative (to replace Mark Jones) for the Regional Communications Advisory Board. Mike was also appointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board as the City of Greeley Appointee, with a term set to expire on 01/09/18.
  • Ron Pistera – appointed (to replace Barry Schaefer) as the Fire Chief-At-Large in the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with a term set to expire on 12/31/17.

Reappointments:

  • James Dilka – reappointed to the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with a term set to expire on 12/31/19.
  • Barry Schaefer – reassigned to Fire Zone North in the Regional Communications Advisory Board, with a term set to expire 12/31/19.
  • Brad Walker – reappointed to Extension Advisory Board Council, with a term set to expire 02/01/2020.
  • Dave Bressler – reappointed to 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board as the Emergency Medical Service County Appointee, with a term set to expire on 01/08/2019
  • Alan Caldwell – reappointed to 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board as the Sheriff Appointee, with a term set to expire 01/08/2019.

The Board of Commissioners thanks each of these individuals for dedicating their time to these boards and supporting the work they do for the residents of Weld County.
