About the Survey
Since 2007, the Community Health Survey has been conducted by Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment. Every three years a random sample of more than 7,000 households is selected to complete the survey. In 2013, over 2,000 adult residents responded. The aggregated results provide local-level data on health status, health behaviors, and health concerns and needs of Weld County residents. This survey is part of the Health Department’s continuous effort to understand resident’s health status and encourage ongoing community dialogue about health issues and concerns through the collection of information and data.
The Weld Community Health Survey was done in partnership with other organizations and members of the community. For a list of organizations, staff, and students who assisted the Health Department with the survey design, implementation, or reporting click here.
The survey was primarily funded by Weld County Government. Funding from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, Office of Planning and Partnerships also partially supported the 2013 survey process. Finally, many thanks goes to the over 2,000 Weld County residents who completed the survey. Without them, this report would not be possible.
