The Weld County Department of Facilities is responsible for the repair, maintenance, landscaping of the grounds, nighttime security, and snow removal for 104 County facilities/locations.

Responsible for permitting, regulating and enforcing surface regulations related to oil and gas operations for drilling sites located in unincorporated Weld County.
Provides a consistent review of individual land-use matters through chapters adopted into the Weld County Code.
The Public Information team publishes news releases, newsletters, and multimedia projects as well as manages the county’s social media platforms, for all county departments and the Board of Commissioners.
Serves 41 Law, Fire and Medical agencies covering approximately 4,000 square miles in and outside of Weld County.
The Department of Public Works provides for maintenance and construction of roads, bridges and storm drainage facilities in the public right of way throughout Weld County.
Administers bid proposals. Ensures efficient, open, and competitive bidding on all purchases.
Providing Effective Public Safety Services with Honor and Integrity
Collects all county property taxes, makes distribution of those taxes, and invests the difference on behalf of the County.
Assists veterans and their dependents in applying for service connected disability, non-service connected pension, burial and survival benefits, educational benefits, and health care from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
