In September, the Weld County Commissioners announced the following winners of the Constitution Day Essay and Art Contest. Winning entries were announce by judges: Dan Woog (the art category), Colorado Representative for House District 63; Lori Saine (the poetry category), Weld County Commissioner for District 3; and Tonya Van Beber (the essay category), Colorado Representative for House District 48.

The students who won first, second, third and honorable mention in their category are invited to the September 27 board meeting to receive their certificate.
