Human Cases: No current cases reported.
Mosquito counts are now currently above average, for this time of year, and after a brief dip at the end of July, Culex mosquitoes (WNV vector mosquitoes) are again above average.


Prevention practices are recommended!
- Use insect repellant.
- Wear long sleeves and pants to reduce mosquito bites.
- Drain standing water near your home to prevent mosquito breeding.
- Use screens on windows and doors to keep mosquitoes out of your home.
