Walk Indoors Webinar

Join Sheila Beckley for a webinar series of low intensity “Walk Indoors” exercises every Monday at 9:00 a.m. for six weeks beginning June 14th. Exercises run from 15-18 minutes with 3-5 minutes of stretching at the end. You don’t have to attend all six classes although it would be best if you can.  Registration is required for the free webinar.

  • June 14 Walk Indoors – walk in place, forward and backward, sideward, leg lifts, kicks
  • June 21 Walk Indoors with Upper Body Movement
  • June 28 Walk Indoors with Added Weights
  • July 5 Walk Indoors with Interval Training – includes short intervals of jogging in place
  • July 12 Walk Indoors with Added Intensity – slightly faster paced workout
  • July 19 Stretching

Notes:

  • Feel free to check with your doctor for advice before you try these exercises.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for working out. Choose a room where you can walk three (3) steps forward, backward and sideward if possible.
  • For the exercises with weights, choose 1-3 pound weights. If they are unavailable, you can use anything you have at home that you can comfortably hold, such as a bag of beans or canned food.
